Robert has nearly 40 years of construction experience and as the principal owner of Boyer Construction, has been focused primarily on Public works jobs since 2000. Robert founded Boyer Construction with a deep commitment to serving the local community and fostering a legacy of excellence for future generations. As the company’s leader, Robert combines decades of construction expertise with a strong focus on building relationships and delivering projects that enhance the Northern California region.

Michael Oliva has been an integral part of Boyer Construction’s leadership team since 2008, combining over 20 years of industry experience with a passion for delivering impactful projects. A graduate of UC Davis with a B.A. in Psychology and Exercise Biology, Michael brings a unique perspective to project management, balancing technical expertise with a people-centered approach.
As a Senior Project Manager, Michael has successfully overseen a diverse portfolio, including educational facilities, public safety buildings, and large-scale resort developments. Notable projects under his leadership include the Berkeley Tuolumne Camp rebuild, the Modesto City Schools science lab renovations, and the Firefall Resort. His dual role as both an owner and project manager ensures streamlined decision-making and a commitment to excellence in every phase of construction.
Michael’s dedication extends beyond the job site to his family and the community. As a youth coach and advocate for local development, he is deeply invested in creating opportunities and fostering growth for future generations.
Jesse also graduated with a degree from UC Davis and is a member of the Boyer Construction management/ownership team. Jesse’s primary roles are superintendent and project manager, but he has experience involving every role at Boyer Construction. Jesse is a born leader with excellent problem-solving skills, and high standards for quality which make him a natural fit to oversee projects. For the Modesto schools’ job, he will be involved with preconstruction services with the constructability review and estimating.
