Elk Grove Animal Shelter

The Elk Grove Animal Shelter is a modern, single-story facility designed to provide comprehensive animal care services to the Elk Grove community. Spanning approximately 23,000 square feet, this state-of-the-art shelter includes adoption and holding areas, medical facilities, administrative offices, and outdoor exercise spaces. The site also features extensive improvements such as parking lots, walkways, landscaping, and utilities to support the facility’s operations.

Constructed with a focus on durability and sustainability, the shelter incorporates energy-efficient systems and materials to meet the city’s long-term needs. One of the key challenges during the construction process was coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure the facility adhered to rigorous animal welfare standards while staying on schedule and budget. Boyer Construction overcame these challenges through meticulous planning and collaboration, delivering a vital community resource that supports animal health, safety, and adoption initiatives in Elk Grove.
